Welcome to GeoGuess
GeoGuess is a simple geography practice game: study a country outline, type the country name, and build stronger map memory one round at a time.
Game mode
The English version focuses on country outlines. Each round shows a random silhouette from the world dataset, and your goal is to identify it from shape cues such as coastlines, borders, peninsulas, islands, and lake shores.
How to play
- Look closely at the outline before typing.
- Enter a country name and choose the best match from the suggestions.
- Submit your guess.
- Use the distance hint after a wrong answer to adjust your mental map.
- Save skips for outlines you truly cannot place.
Why it helps
- Visual recognition trains spatial memory.
- Repeated guesses strengthen country-name recall.
- Distance feedback turns mistakes into useful clues.
- Short rounds make it easy to practice during small breaks.
Start a round, take your time with the outline, and let each miss teach you where the target sits on the map.
